Bring reviewed kids' videos into Claude.

The GoodKidVids connector is available now for Claude web. Ask for a finite playlist, update your family's viewing preferences, or find something you already saved. Every playlist is built from the GoodKidVids human-reviewed catalog.

Connect GoodKidVids

Add the remote connector once, then choose it from Claude's tools when you want to use it.

A GoodKidVids account is required. Claude does not receive your sign-in link or account credentials.

  1. Open Claude Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it GoodKidVids and paste this URL:https://goodkidvids-mcp.goodkidvids.workers.dev/mcp
  4. Select Add, then connect it from Search and tools in a Claude conversation.
  5. Sign in to GoodKidVids and review the permissions before approving access.

Start with a useful request.

  • “Make a 20-minute movement playlist.”
  • “Leave out this creator in future playlists.”
  • “Show my saved playlists.”

Useful account actions, with clear boundaries.

Claude can use eight GoodKidVids tools. It does not receive unrestricted database access.

Build a reviewed playlist

The GoodKidVids consent screen shows seven permission groups: create and read playlists, read and update preferences, read and update favorites, and view playlist usage. Approving the connector gives Claude those specific capabilities.

Preferences include age range, interests, helpful topics, and exclusions. Saved playlist results do not return the original private request text.

To remove access, open your GoodKidVids account and choose Disconnect beside GoodKidVids for Claude. You can also remove the connector in Claude Settings.

The connector cannot add an unreviewed video to a playlist. Creator leave-outs and disliked-video exclusions remain enforced when a playlist is built.
